Lifeline IT’s Amsterdam office in partnership with Dutch law firm ACG International, hosted an exclusive cyber security event for professional services companies to learn more about the risks and how to protect themselves.

The session, held on June 19th at WTC Amsterdam, was attended by firms wanting to know more about the cyber landscape and how they can mitigate against an attack.

Covering everything from identifying significant risks, through to building effective disaster recovery planning and incident response, the event gave a thorough insight into the world of cybercrime and how it can impact businesses.

There was also a section on how legal companies can take advantage of AI tools, whilst managing data safely. This session was hosted by Lifeline IT partner and Dutch business ‘Fledger’, which is developing safe AI tools for law firms.

Said Daniel: “Cyber security is very much the topic of the moment but it’s important to keep things simple and give clear actionable guidance to business leaders. This session was a great opportunity to meet in person with companies and explain the key things they need to be aware of and the actions they need to take.

“We also do similar sessions in the UK, including our ‘Cyber Essentials’ training, and clients may want to think about organising these for their teams. Even if you have done the session before a refresher could be useful, as cybercrime is not going away and is very much on the rise.”
