A Year of Highs for Lifeline IT

2022 Highlights text

As 2022 draws to a close, Lifeline IT’s Adam and Daniel are signing off for the festive season with a round-up of highlights from what’s been a great year for the company.

UK and European Expansion

Lifeline IT opened its second office in Peterborough at the end of 2021 and, this month, the company announced the launch of a European site in Amsterdam.

Said Daniel: “Expanding across the UK and into Europe has definitely been a highlight for us. Peterborough has gone from strength to strength and we’re incredibly excited about our Amsterdam office, which will allow us to service existing clients and also grow the business.”

Many Happy Returns

In 2022 Lifeline IT celebrated its 20th anniversary, growing from a team of three in 2002 to 30 staff.

Said Adam: “Celebrating 20 years was a chance for us to reflect on what we’ve achieved over the past two decades. Although there have been so many changes in IT and tech during this time, one thing that hasn’t changed at Lifeline IT is our core values of being customer-focused and offering our clients an excellent face-to-face service. This has been crucial to our success as a company.”

The Tech Lifeline Podcast

‘The Tech Lifeline’ podcasts have become a regular feature on Lifeline IT’s website and social media. This year saw the launch of a special anniversary ‘Terminated Tech’ series, looking back at IT that was a key part of life in the 2000s and is now obsolete.

Said Daniel: “The podcasts are always fun to do, and Adam and I try and make them interesting and informative, but in a light-hearted way. Look out for our next series in 2023 that will have video as well as audio.”

A Great Team

Key to Lifeline IT’s success is its team, many of whom have been with the business since they joined as juniors. 2022 saw Lifeline IT’s principal accountant Krishna Taylor celebrate 10 years with the company and Charlotte Jeyaratnam and Neil Layton were promoted to Head of Operations and Head of Engineering respectively.

Commented Adam: “Lifeline IT is all about the people – having a great team, many of whom have been with us for over a decade, is something we’re incredibly proud of.”

Business as Usual

2022 has seen a return of more face-to-face working, deskside support and client training sessions, as businesses return to their offices permanently.

Said Daniel: “This year really has felt like business as usual with the normal pre-pandemic pace of office moves and updates. We’ve been doing a lot more security training and have had great feedback from clients. I think we’ve all enjoyed the normality of being able to do these sessions face-to-face, rather than remotely.”

And Finally…

Adam, Daniel and the Lifeline IT team would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
