And That’s a Wrap!

Review of the Year 2023 - line between 2023 and 2024

It’s been another year of highs for Lifeline IT as we grow the business whilst continuing to offer the great service and support our clients have come to rely on over the years.

To end 2023, here’s a quick re-cap of some of our proudest achievements of the last 12 months.

The team
We say if time and time again, but it’s our fantastic team who make Lifeline IT the great business it is. This year, we say a huge thank you to one of our engineers, Ray Dave, who has been an integral part of the company for nearly 18 years and retires at the end of December. Good luck and enjoy your retirement Ray!
And it’s congratulations to our Technical Director Navdeep Batth, who is now officially an equity partner in Lifeline IT.

Amsterdam success
Our Amsterdam office continues to go from strength to strength as we take on new staff and clients. Joining the team in 2023 were associate engineers Perry Van Bergenhenegouw and Kyle Cawein. We’ve also been busy building connections in the region by becoming part of the influential business network MZA Horeca and Adam and Daniel were featured in the Netherland’s leading daily newspaper – NRC – talking about how Lifeline IT has adapted to leaving the EU by opening a branch in Amsterdam.

Clients consider European option
On the subject of Europe, our annual IT Trends research gave us an interesting insight into how our clients have been impacted by Brexit. Around 300 people responded to our survey, with nine out of 10 businesses confirming that they are considering opening a European branch due to the effect of Brexit. Just over half (51%) said they had lost business as a result of Brexit and 45% confirmed that staff recruitment and retention had also been made more difficult. On a more positive note, 58% said that leaving the EU had made things more difficult, but they have to make the best of it.

Safe as houses
A highlight of this year has been seeing a big take-up from our clients of security systems and products, as more businesses look to safeguard against the risk of cyber-attacks. Systems like Microsoft Intune have been particularly popular and companies are now more vigilant about enforcing security policies, something we’re delighted about here at Lifeline IT.

Keeping the customer satisfied
Over the past 365 days, we’ve dealt with just over 17,500 cases that have been logged by clients. Covering everything from new starter set-ups and hardware issues, through to password resets and application problems, the number of cases we’ve dealt with is up almost 5% on last year.

Looking to 2024
As 2023 draws to a close, we look forward to the start of a new year and continuing to grow Lifeline IT by welcoming more clients and people to the team, whilst making sure we offer excellent customer service. We’re also excited about launching our 2024 IT Trends Survey – we will need you to tell us all about your IT frustrations and what you struggle with technically. From the results we’re going to be developing a number of training initiatives and ‘how to’ guides to help clients make the most of their IT experience. Look out for the survey launch in early 2024.

And finally…
Adam, Daniel and everyone at Lifeline IT would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and thank you for all your support throughout 2023.

This uses the new tabs module, so we can style it however we want using our built in design controls!Pretty nifty eh?
And of course you can add images or whatever you want here too.Tabs are nothing new, but tabs that display inside your mega menu are pretty awesome 🙂
