LIFELINE IT LAUNCHES NEW OFFICE IN UK’S FAST GROWING CITY

Lifeline IT is growing with the launch of the company’s second office in the Cambridgeshire city of Peterborough.

Opened this month, the new office is an extension of Lifeline IT’s main headquarters in North London.

A team of engineers have been recruited to work from the Peterborough site and they will be supported by members of the senior management team, who will be based at the office throughout the week.

Peterborough was chosen due to its strong technology links – the neighbouring region around Cambridgeshire is known as ‘Silicon Fen’ because of the large number of high-tech software and electronics businesses – as well as it’s close proximity to the Capital.

Peterborough is one of the fastest growing and best-connected cities, with its population set to increase by more than 17% by 2040. It has a high employment rate, excellent transport links and it is internationally recognised as a leading environmental city. Peterborough is pioneering a £1billion city centre regeneration, building a new state-of-the-art University and creating a riverside development of luxury apartments, hotel and modern offices spaces.

The decision to open a second office is part of Lifeline IT’s overall drive to expand, whilst continuing to offer clients a first-class service. The launch of the Peterborough site comes as the company gears up to celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2022.
