SMOOTH OFFICE MOVE FOR GREEN & PARTNERS

Published: 10 Aug 2019

Lifeline IT recently implemented a highly successful IT systems move for the central London-based property consultants, Green & Partners.

Green & Partners were relocating from their offices in Cavendish Square to new premises off Oxford Street, W1, and asked Lifeline IT to undertake the move of their IT systems and equipment. This included some 15 workstations, and their network/email server. Lifeline IT planned and executed the move to minimise disruption to the business; they visited the new building in advance to understand potential difficulties; they surveyed and tested all existing cabling and IT infrastructure, replacing elements where necessary; and they put in place a detailed plan of the move well in advance.

Not only did they move existing equipment, but they also advised on ways Green & Partners could enhance their existing IT to better fit their business. For example, upgrading their audio-visual equipment, and enhancing their email system with MessageLabs to eliminate SPAM and increase email security.

The relocation took place on a Friday, and Lifeline IT worked over the weekend to test all the systems and iron out any problems. Staff were able to resume work as normal on Monday, in their new premises.

Nigel Bagge, Director at Green & Partners, said

‘We were very impressed with the service Lifeline IT delivered – communication between the Lifeline IT staff and ourselves was excellent, and the careful planning the team undertook ensured a seamless move. We’re very happy to be working with them now on an ongoing basis.”
